Privacy policy
In short: AstroMandali does not collect your personal information. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
1. Information stored on your device
To work, the app stores the following only on your phone: your name, birth date, time and place; the people and groups you add and their birth details; your preferences (such as zodiac system, guidance lens and theme); and your app-lock settings. If you set a PIN, only a salted, one-way hash of it is kept, in your phone’s secure storage.
2. Information we collect
None. AstroMandali has no accounts and no server that receives your information, so we do not collect, see, sell, rent or share your personal data.
3. Face ID and fingerprint
If you turn on biometric unlock, your phone’s operating system checks your face or fingerprint and tells the app only whether it succeeded. The app never receives, stores or transmits biometric data.
4. App updates
The app can check for updates to its content through Expo’s update service. Like any internet request, this reveals your IP address, platform and the app version to that service. It does not include your name, birth details or anything you have entered. Downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play is governed by those stores’ own policies.
5. Third-party services
The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social-media software.
6. Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your phone until you remove it. You can edit your details or remove any person or group in the app, erase everything using “Forgot your PIN?” on the lock screen, or uninstall the app. Depending on your phone settings, your operating system’s own backup (for example iCloud or Google backup) may include app data; manage this in your phone’s settings.
7. Children
AstroMandali is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a future version of the app collects any information, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it before doing so.
